Fly fishing, the Texas way.

Texas Drift Co. is a fly fishing brand built for Lone Star water, from the stock tank out back to the grass flats of the Laguna Madre. We cover the fish, the flies, and the places.

The Drift

Six kinds of water.
One state.

Most fly fishing brands are built around Montana trout. Texas is different. Here you can catch a Guadalupe bass under a cypress in the morning and be sight-casting to tailing redfish by sunset.

We built Texas Drift Co. for anglers who fish the way Texans fish: wet-wading in sandals, throwing poppers at a tank on the back forty, and poling skinny water while the wind blows 20 knots.

The Texas fly calendar

There’s no real off-season here. When it’s too cold for the bass, the trout show up in the tailwater, and when the rivers get too hot, the coast gets going.
